About me.
My name is Elaine Saunders and I am a qualified Science teacher, currently living outside of Munich. Science is a huge passion of mine and has been since a spark was ignited by my own teacher during my time at school. A teacher who listened, answered any and every question thrown at him but most of all made Science relatable. Now I find myself in a position where I can be the one to ignite that spark in young people. Through my enthusiasm for Science I aim to encourage exploration and reinforce understandings of relevant Scientific topics while linking this to the educational curriculum being studied. I will guide students in discovering their own learning styles and how to organise and develop revision plans to become confident independent learners.
My qualifications and experience .
I obtained a BSc Honors degree in Biology and Environmental Science from Kingston University in London and then furthered my education at Canterbury Christchurch University in Kent where I completed a PGCE in secondary Science education. I have taught in number of different school systems from comprehensive, grammar, private and international and I now wish to share my experience and love of Science through one to one tuition.
What I offer
I am offering tuition in Science at Key-stage 3, Key-stage 4 and Biology at key-stage 5 in both A level and IB.
